  • ANDREW ANDERSONS AO PTW has been involved with many major architectural projects in Australia and abroad in a professional career spanning over forty five years. Andrew graduated from Sydney University with the University Medal and went on to complete the degree of Master of Architecture at Yale University. In 1966-67 Andrew worked with Arup Associates, architects in London. From the late 1960's to 1988 Andrew worked on numerous public buildings in NSW including two Sulman Award wing additions to the Art Gallery of NSW, and major additions to the State Parliament House. In 1983 he was awarded an Officer of the Order of Australia for services to architecture. Since joining PTW as a director in 1989 he has continued with major projects. Among these are a number of important apartment buildings that have set a new benchmark for quality such as Quay Grand and Pier 6/7 Walsh Bay, in association with Mirvac, Darling Island, Pyrmont, Waterfront at Kingston Foreshores Canberra, North at Milsons Point and The Onslow in Elizabeth Bay. The Bondi at Bondi Beach was completed in May 2009.

The firm's projects have won several key national and international awards and feature extensively in Australian and international design magazines.ELEMENTS The more we looked at the space, the more we knew we had to put the focus on that amazing backdrop of Bondi Beach. Gazing out to the ocean from Pacific's enormous terraces is so dramatic, it blows your mind. Living here is a beautiful experience. Everything you touch within the space is beautiful. The mood is soft, calming and always easy on the eye. In our Lighthouse designs, soft leather-padded wardrobes protect and encase your clothes. Stone floors feel smooth underfoot. From your private quarters to the grand living areas, the spaces are a ritual of daily experience and a celebration of life.
  • Jonathan Richards began his career designing major exhibitions and joined SJB Interiors to adapt his conceptual ideas to residential projects. A director with the firm, Jonathan has been responsible for the design and implementation of many award-winning designs. He continues to draw inspiration from fine art and cinema to create designs of refinement and imagination. NATURAL LUXURY Our interiors have a deliberate touch of natural luxury inspired by the Bondi environment. There was something that felt right about that from the start. We looked at how materials by the water weather, how rocks develop their form from the wind and sea, how the sand takes shape. We thought in a very tactile way about materials that would set these homes apart from everything else. Moroccan tiles are impregnated with striking graphic elements. Beautiful bronze benchtops will develop a golden sheen over time. Carpets possess a tactile, pebble-like quality. It's a play of texture, colour and pattern that we feel truly captures quintessential Bondi.
  • New York born and bred, George Freedman has enjoyed an international career, initially working in New York for practices of world acclaim. His all-encompassing design skills, coupled with his ongoing interest in the Arts, result in spaces of great quality. After exhibiting his own Art in Europe, George was sent to Australia in 1969 on a commission by Knoll International. Today George leads the PTW interiors group, delivering world-class projects such as Pacific Bondi Beach. EASY ELEGANCE We wanted to create cool, relaxed spaces where the sea and the air take precedence. Our designs offer a private and luxurious sanctuary with an undeniable and compelling sense of place, where you will always feel a part of the beach, a part of the ocean. The gorgeous unfolding beach and gigantic blue horizon seem endless. They are wonderfully expansive and quite extraordinary. Rather than duplicate it, we have reflected and honoured this remarkable setting. We have sought to provide spaces that co-exist with this environment rather than merely mimic it.
